Heat pump is one of the most promising energy saving technologies for heating household. The design of the device makes it possible to obtain energy from various sources, such as earth, air and water. The heat pump in your home heating system performs the same task as a boiler, gas or electric boiler. It is used to heat the central heating system and to prepare domestic hot water.

Air-to-water heat pump - use of air as a source of heating requires lowest investment costs. In this type of pump, the air is drawn in, cooled in the evaporator of the heat pump and then re-circulated to the environment. The device is capable of generating heat at an air temperature of up to -20 ° C. At a lower temperatures water, pre-heated by the pump, is reheated by an additional heat source.

Ground-water heat pump - This type of device generates energy from the ground through the installation of a lower heat source. It is done in two ways: as a horizontal or vertical ground exchanger. The horizontal exchanger is located at a depth not exceeding 1.5 meters. The vertical exchanger is placed at a depth of 150 m, for example, in a hollow hole. The heat carrier that most often fills the exchanger is an aqueous solution of glycol or technical spirit. Here the temperature even in the frost, very rarely falls below + 5 ° C. Heat pumps draw as much as 80 percent of heat energy needed to heat the household from the ground.

An air-to-air heat pump is a DHW heating device designed for indoor installation. These devices are cylindrical in shape. At the bottom is a hot water tank with a capacity of 200 or 300 liters. The upper part of the pump is fitted with the whole system of water heating. This type of storage tank pump is an excellent solution to the problem of hot water preparation for buildings equipped with a conventional heating source. In winter, warm water is heated in the boiler while in the summer it is heated by high efficiency equipment.
